Louisiana is honored to host the 2011 National Small Business Innovation Research Fall Conference, and the success of our National Conference is credited largely to our sponsors and exhibitors who lend their names and financial support to Conference events. Through your sponsorship, you will support small businesses in their efforts to research, develop and commercialize the next generation of cutting edge technologies. Small businesses are the foundation of job creation and growth in the United States, and the successful commercialization of their innovation is critical toward building the 21st century economy.
The 2011 National Small Business Innovation Research Fall Conference will be held on November 6 - 9, 2011, in New Orleans, Louisiana, and we anticipate over 700+ attendees from a variety of federal agencies and numerous technology-based businesses that have been successful in the SBIR/STTR programs. This fall’s conference theme is “Small Business Growth Through Technology: Innovate & Create,” and our intent is to educate and connect small technology-based businesses, researchers and universities from all across the United States with the resources to help them transform innovative ideas into new products or services and job growth. The conference will cover many aspects of the federal Small Business Innovation Research (SBIR) programs such as getting started, intellectual property, financing, marketing and business planning.
