The City of Irvine Development Assistance Center (DAC)

The Development Assistance Center is a primary resource available to businesses, developers, real estate professionals and members of the public. At the center, visitors can gather information to assist them in making decisions regarding development and expansion in Irvine. The Department staff also reviews all applications for building improvements,
residential alterations and signs. The DAC team includes the Planning and Zoning Counter, Land Use Data Monitoring and Permit Processing.  Planning and Development staff are available at the Planning and Zoning Counter of the Community Development Department, located in City Hall, to answer any of your questions, and to facilitate your development application. The D.A.C. (Development Assistance Center) team is equipped to answer questions regarding planning and zoning regulations. The Planning and Zoning Counter is open Monday through Thursday from 7:30 a.m.
