Education & Excellence

Irvine is very proud have one of the most educated and diverse pools of talent in the world. In fact, 96.3% of the population graduate high school and 64.1% of the population have college degrees.

Both the Irvine Chamber of Commerce and the City of Irvine work closely together to ensure that local companies have access to a highly trained workforce—and that the workforce has access to quality jobs.

That support includes efforts to expanding employment opportunities for workers by enriching their knowledge base, growing their skill sets, and identifying job openings. Through programs that provide educational opportunities and mentoring to both potential employees and Irvine businesses, The Chamber and City offer information on workforce development, welfare to work, career centers and linkages to economic development.
